I told HYX this morning that I was touched by the Academy Awards last nigh. Here is one of the four.
Jamie Foxx, who played Ray Charles in “Ray,” won the Oscar for best actor. When he gave the speech, he first thanked his daughter,”I want to thank my daughter, who told me, ‘If you don’t win, Dad, you’re still good,’ ” How sweet it is:) After thanking all the others, finally came the most touching moment to me. He thanked his grandmother and said the following in tears, “She was the first one who taught me how to act.……She still talks to me, but now she talks to me in my dreams. And I can’t wait to go to sleep tonight because we’ve got a lot to talk about.”:)
So, let’s cherish all our relatives and friends, thinking about them more 
The Pope is hospitalized on Thursday, but the Vatican offical said early this morning that he will still follow the traditional Sunday’s blessing from his hospital room.
Honestly say, it’s my first time to notice him.
His name is Karol Joseff Wojtyla, born in Poland, 1920. His father was a retired army officer and his mother was a teacher. He studied literature and philosophy, and later became a playwright and poet. WoW!
He looked really handsome when he was young:) During the Nazi occupation, he studied theology secretely. With 2 docterates, he became a professor of ethics later. As a cardinal aged 47, he led the moral and social force to against communism. I don’t quite understand that:(
In October 1978, he became the first Slavic Pope, the first non-Italian Pope in 455 years, and took the name John Paul II. Cool, ha. He was assassinated on May, 1981, by a Turkish man, and recovered 2 monthes later.@_@

Another thing I knew today from CNN program is that the superman’s daughter is now in Yale equitation team. Yeah, I have to say that she is brave to face the truth, and goes on riding. Great!
Tomorrow I’ll write something about 2 crimes seriously concerned by the Americans these days.
I planned to write something about Ferrari’s new F2005, but tonight I spent too much time on buffet, haha.
East buffet is a cantonese restaurant. It has some typical cantonese food, but they are not very much delicious. It also has roast duck, Italian taste seafood, fruit, salad, dessert as well as sushi. Almost every Chinese restraurant here has sushi.
We eat lots and lots of lobsters and huge crab legs.

Ke went to Long Island today with his teammates, and won’t be back until tomorrow night. What a lonely day! Actually, the most terrible thing is I’m afraid to be home alone:( I shouldn’t have seen so many TV programs and biographies about detectives or burglars. Oh my gosh!
The only thing I can do is chatting with my friends. Thanks to the time difference:) I called LY couple. We suffered the visa application together for 8 months, spent a 5-day vacation in Korea and thus strengthened our friendship:) LY told me that University of Wisconsin has a large statistics department which ranked No. 1 last year in America. Wow! Also, he advised me to register some statistics courses next semester which will be very helpful for my application, both for Yale and for other universities. Does that work? I don’t know. The only thing I know is it’ll cost me THOUSANDS of bucks!!!

Finally, I went to gym today. It’s big and interesting. I like it and decide to go there often, sliming my belly, legs as well as arms, though i do not weight one more pound heavier since i came to new haven. This 80-day menbership cost my husband $50 with a small locker,hiahia.
You know here, around campus, especially in gym, u can see ipod or ipod mini everywhere. i once had one, but lost. i really like my 20G ipod, ‘coz it looks terrific and can contain so many wave documents, yes i mean not only pops. today apple begin to sale it’s new ipod mini, much cheaper and the battery can last 8 more hours. my dear husband offers me a green one. i’m very happy with that,really.
but, i realize that i have had everything i want. i got an ibook one month ago, and now, i’m going to have another ipod. everything goes smooth in my life. so, i decided to give it up, since we still have an poor iriver:( it’s really not easy to give up something u dreamed of for monthes, and now, i’m a little bit sad, even tears rolling in my eyes, but it’s ok.
i’ll be fine soon.
